Gravity gradient tensor (g xx , g xz (=g zx ), g zz ) on the profile. These are estimated from the Bouguer anomalies on the profile shown in Fig. 8. The component of g xx and g xz is calculated by a finite-difference method of gravity vectors g x and g z in the space domain. The “Kurehayama Fault” shown in this figure indicates a rough fault location by Toyama City (Toyama City 2013). The unit of the gravity gradient tensor is given in E (Eötvös), and 1 E = 0.1 mGal/km
