The gray open circles are the averages of the 30-day moving averages of the ΔCO2/ΔCH4 ratio for the preceding 9 years (2011–2019) and the vertical bars are their uncertainties. The temporal resolution of the consecutive changes is ± 15 days. The light-blue-shaded areas correspond to the Chinese New Year holidays
