Example solutions to Eq. (12). The spatial distributions of the a analytical and b numerical solutions, and the c absolute deviations between these two solutions (numerical error), are plotted. Equations (19) and (20) were used to calculate the analytical solutions. The numerical solutions were obtained by the explicit Runge–Kutta method of order 5(4) (see main text for details). All of the parameters used to obtain the solutions are listed in Table 1
