Within archaeal sequences of the planktonic sample, two reads of the archaeal sequences were assigned to methanogenic archaea. They were affiliated with the hydrogenotrophic genus Methanoregula and hydrogen-dependent methylotrophic family Methanomassiliicoccacea. Those two sequences were not found in the benthic sample
