As in Fig. 1 but from 12:00 to 18:00 LT on June 3, 2016 during the ShUREX 2016 campaign. In the lower part, the top of the convective boundary layer, with associated plume activity, can be seen at a height of around 2 km. Sheet and layer structures with apparently no turbulence activity can also be seen above the CBL. Dark thin lines inside and above the CBL denote UAV tracks
