The concepts behind the remote-controlled watercraft survey system. The watercraft has four systems: motor (blue), sonar (red), GNSS receiver and heading sensor (green), and transceiver (black). The positioning and heading information are transmitted to a PC on land, and the operator can watch the trace and real-time position on a PC display and transmit a signal to a radio controller to operate the craft
