Location map of the study area. Kurehayama Fault is a reverse fault located in the center of the Toyama Basin, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Its location has been estimated by topographic, geological, and geophysical data. The red line and brown lines denote the estimated location of the Kurehayama Fault, Toyama City (Toyama City 2013), and The Headquarters for Earthquake Research Promotion (The Headquarters for Earthquake Research Promotion 2008), respectively. Blue line a - b indicates the dense gravity survey profile, which has gravity observation points at about 50 m intervals
