The distances from the middle of the oceanic crust to the level where fluids concentrate are shown by red and green dots. Vertical lines show error bars. Red and green dots are based on models of antigorite dehydration by Wunder and Schreyer (1997) and by Schmidt and Poli (1998), respectively.
