Measured Vp and Vs in brine-saturated sample AJG04 and velocities for different saturation degrees. The measured velocities in brine-saturated sample AJG04 are shown by solid circles, and those in dry sample AJG02 by open circles. Calculated velocities for determined crack density parameters (Fig. 7) are shown for comparison (broken lines). Velocities for various saturation degrees were calculated by using the crack density parameter in dry sample AJG02. The comparison of measured and calculated velocities suggests that pores are mostly filled with aqueous solution
